An Ode To The Women Of This World!

A wish, a prayer, a whim

In every lass's heart that swims

Of creating,conquering and care-taking,

Of thyself, thy clan and thy folk ring.

With grief in her heart, and grin on her lips,

With tears in her eyes, and radiance on her countenance,

With briny beads on her visage, and a consoling color,

She lives, labors and leaves her life for all.

A wish to garnish her gratitude,

A prayer to reminisce her rectitude,

A whim to salute her sacrifice,

And a dream for a day to get her slice.

A janitor, a lover, a sister,

A mother, a consort, an aide,

At home and at calling,

She slogs for all and sundry barring herself....
