A Forlorn Life of a Farmer

Image
Bright sun shone on his vast barren meadows, His downcast face prayed for an even existence,   With a burdened brain and a fear of future, He dreamt of a miracle uplifting his life. Canal where Cauvery had spread it's wings, Now runs with sweat and tears of his likes, His hands which took care of thousands, Now strives to fill stomachs of few. With his bills building up and choices falling off, The light of hope began to blur With nature too ceasing to lend a hand, He learnt no God can help him.                                             And thus chose to take his own life, Believing his woes would be noticed, With no stable solution still, His death became one among the many

A True Event….

Not so long ago lived a light-hearted lass  In a homely household of a tireless town  So modest, yet laughter adorned her walls,  So gullible, yet so gentle too Twas her perfect prime, her parents presumed,  Twas a solemn span, her brother signed in  Twas a sound say, she sensed too  Twas the right time to lead her to altar, they all surmised Off were relayed messages not so far, In pursuit of a white-collared stag  For he holds the pivot to a prospect as solid as rock  An angle, not his aspect nor his aura were prime They did hit upon one in much haste. After much quibble and squabble on endowment A marriage accord was clinched with a shred of comfort. Yet only time will tell if it was a fair  compromise...
