A Drop!
A
serene seashore with buffeting waves, hitting the rocks hard-An
indication of an impending cyclone. But the seashore was not found to
be unoccupied.By the side of the jagged rocks were a group of small
boys half clad in trousers playing unmindful.Along the shore was a
young girl strolling at the edge of the sea.She did not seem to be
delighted about the pleasant ambience around her, rather walked the
way she mused.
Swiftly
the wind blew so rough that the balloon sellers began stowing away
their belongings. At the same moment a family which had picnicked
there also started vacating. The clock in the neighbouring lighthouse
banged six times but looked as though it was nearing
midnight.Presently there were none barring the group of small boys
and the girl.
All
of a sudden a lightning struck in the middle of the ocean trailed by
a thunder which seemed it had come from miles away. This was
sufficient for the lads to return to their havens, but the girl never
stirred.
Slowly
and patiently a drop of water trickled on her feet followed by a
surge of water. When she looked around her it was not the pebbles that
were wet,nor the sand around her but it were her eyes and cheeks that
were flooded. At once she shut her eyes tight praying to God that she
would like to wake up in a place sans any snags, the very next
instant.A cloak of sorrow and dejection wrapped her which she wished
would be washed away by the approaching rain. She left the place not
with a heavier heart but a lighter one full of self-credence brimming
in her.It certainly manifests us that once you cry out your
worries, it helps us to build castles of confidence in our hearts
fenced by positive vibes.
